How to get an ID:
 
First of all, you need to have downloaded the Monster and Me game, extracted the .rar file and installed the game to your computer by clicking setup.exe. Once you have done this, double click the play.exe icon that appears in your Monster an Me
folder, this will check for updates and download them if needed.

Once you're in, choose the group and the server you would like to play in. Then when you've reached the log-in screen, press "New Account" which appears on the login panel. A new browser window will open, follow the instructions from there to create your new Monster and Me account. We would like to remind you that account creation is totally free.

How to create a character:

Once you have created an account, type in the details into the login panel and press OK to log in to the game. If this is your first time entering the game, you will automatically be taken to the character creation screen. There are a grand total of 16 characters to choose from, 8 male and 8 female. At the top of the window you will see 2 tabs, male and female. Use these tabs to switch between character genders. Click a character portrait to see a short animation showing the charcater in full, once you're happy with a character, press OK.

From here, you can give your character a name and a nickname. You can also alter their body and looks a little, there are a total of 3 different designs per character. By clicking "advanced" you can edit the character's starting attributes, however we advise you to leave these alone, unless you fully understand how this will affect your game. When you are happy with your name, nickname and appearance press OK.

Please remember, you are not able to change your character name, however there is the chance to change your nickname and once you have met certain conditions, you can also change your appearance. Once you have clicked OK, the game will begin.
